Today I uploaded 10 new themes to take the total count of themes to 35 available to hrblogs users. I am also looking at the installation of some Plugins that will help expend the functionality of the blogs hosted here. One of the best plugins I have found for Wordpress is the “Subscribe to Comment via Email” which is a fantastic way of keeping the conversation going. If you have a favourite plugin or a feature you would like to see drop me a line and I will see what can be done.
Just a short note to let you all know that the import process is not working, I am hoping for a fix over the next few days. Once it is up and running you should be able to import your old posts from Blogger or MoveableType, etc into hrblogs.
Over time hrblogs.org will have a series of different tools, services and features designed for HR professionals. The first is of course the HRBlogs service itself, a free blogging platform for HR professionals, not just any service, a WordPress service no doubt one of the best blogging tools available today. The second is the Indeed jobs on the right hand side banner, while the banner will not appear on other blogs on the service it might help people who visit the main site. Over time I will be looking into other services and features based on your feedback.
There have been a couple of changes in the last fews days on hrblogs.org. Firstly I have placed a revised set of rules/disclaimer etc on the About page, please review before signing up. There is now a short FAQ to help you get going, more to come from a support point of view. I will be looking to set bbPress up when there are a few more blogs on the service.

To get going is easy, just create a new blog and start posting. Your new blog will be at http://username.hrblogs.org, where your username can be anything you want as long as it is relatively short and isn’t obscene or already taken by someone else.

Michael Specht from specht.com.au, who has leveraged the idea from the fantastic work already done by James Farmer with edublogs.org. hrblogs.org is using the Wordpress Multiuser version of the award winning Wordpress software.
