The Credit Union primarily started its journey with only 17 members & $437 in assets & was operated from the basement of Raleigh’s Agriculture Building. Presently, the organization grew to serve more than 70,000 members countrywide.
NCSECU has its headquarters located in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. The deposits of the State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) members are insured securely by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) of the U.S. Federal Government. Both in membership & in asset size SECU is the 2nd biggest natural member credit union in the United States.

North Carolina State Employees’ Credit Union (NCSECU) operates the Automated Teller Machine Network i.e. Cash Points, with no fee, which is the biggest ATM network in North Carolina, United States. The employees of the State of North Carolina and their immediate families are only permitted to take membership in NCSECU.

- Here on the landing page, tap on the “SIGN IN” link and carefully put down your registered NCSECU “User ID” and “Password” into the given blank field.
- And lastly, after entering your login credentials, please press the “Sign In” tab to access your State Employees’ Credit Union account.

- Now by tapping on the “Continue” button below, follow through with the on-screen guidelines to finish the process.

How to Reset your forgotten NCSECU Member Access Account Password
If you have somehow forgotten your NCSECU Member Access Account Password, and wish to reset the same, you will need to follow these simple steps:
- On the NCSECU Member Access LOG IN window, click on the “Forgotten Password”
- Now, on another page put down your State Employees’ Credit Union “User ID” and “Social Security Number” (SSN) into the provided empty field & hit the “Continue” tab, and go through the on-screen instructions to finish the process.
Please Note: To Reset North Carolina SECU Account Password, you should have already Registered in Member Access Portal & have provided answers to Security Questions carefully.
